The CDISC SuiteTM EDC Module is a standard based electronic data capture (EDC) platform providing an easy-to-use web based application with open architecture for streamlined integration with external systems. Its GUI interface enables the fine tuning of form layouts, and its online edit checks and query processing greatly reduce data entry errors. Multiple mechanisms are supported for data import, export, and extracts.

Depending on user preference and standards the CDISC SuiteTM's eCRF Designer will interface seamlessly with any EDC systems that support the import and export of the commonly accepted ODM 1.3 study metadata definitions. For example, many systems provide Web Services Inbound (RWS) to integrate with third party systems via HTTPS web service calls. Through RWS, eCRF Designer will directly setup the entire system in.
